The material of "Gore And Perversion" was written over ten years ago. Recorded in 1992, the album was banned upon release; the members of DESECRATION at that time were arrested, charged and locked up. A Norwegian record label then released a rough censored version which was also seized in many countries world-wide. The original artwork is so offensive and obscene that today it still cannot be used for an international CD release. Also, the lyrical content is the worst you would ever read. The tracks on this album have been re-recorded and have vastly improved by better recording and indeed for better musicianship.
