Impressive Nordic-influenced Black Metal from Rome, Italy-based quartet. With ultra-killer guitar-riffs and excellent songwriting musicianship, truly reminiscent of classic old IMMORTAL's grim brutality. Early GEHENNA and old DIMMU BORGIR may also be referenced for comparisons sake, but ELIGOR are not as symphonic or keyboard-oriented as their critics might think, thankfully enough.
So don't be fooled by outward appearances; this is utterly frosty atmospheric Norse-core, even though the band is not corpse-painted.
