With „Des Mondes Staub" Seelenfrost end their lunar cycle concept. Originally planned as one opus with the tracks from "?", they became two supplementary albums. On their fifth studio album Seelenfrost process the life, experiences which get collected while aging. Thoughts, longings, decisions which were made, to query them until the final the transition from the realm of the living into the realm of the dead. The titles on "Des Mondes Staub" are straighter as the one on the last album without losing the remarkable sound of Seelenfrost. Prominent are Kollision der Zeit and Ritus, they are picturesque and progressing titles. Sternenpfad sticks out strikingly mangy. The vocals are shared between D.F.D.E. (Title: 03, 05, 06, 08, 09, 11) and Grimwald (Title: 01, 02, 04, 07, 10) of Wintarnaht which complement one another. The album is available as mediabook with sticked in booklet of eight pages. The design itself is simply black, the pictures are in grey tones and white font. The cd is in a transparent cd-tray on the right, the sticked in booklet on the left side of the mediabook. The limitation is 500 pieces.
