This is the same band that released the rare Canadian EP back in 1985. This is a compilation of material of one of metal's most unique and "oddest" bands of the 80s that no one ever heard. Their sound and approach was not typical of the time and certainly would have stood alone. At first listen one might think the band was one of those many lost in the NWOBHM movement. With their proto-metal sound balancing on the doomier edge like Trouble, Overlorde were certainly a progressive heavy metal band of their time and true to the term "progressive".
