The entire album is sung in Breton, the old Celtic language of Brittany, which is very similar to Cornish but is spoken by a mere 200,000 people throughout the world - less than Icelandic. As always, the lyrics deal with classical themes such as winter, death, pride, nature, Celtic legends, rituals and ancient battles. The music is very much Belenos, a combination of harsh black metal, melodic pagan metal with heroic choirs, and elaborate song structures with lots of details that make the songs grow on you the more you listen to them. Since the album is out of print for several years now, the time has come for a limited re-press. It comes in 6-panel digipack, limited to 500 copies, and includes as bonus track, a cover of Emperor's 'With Strength I Burn.'
