Formed in 2007 and hailing from Uberlandia, in the state of Minas Gerais, itself a breeding place of great extreme metal and bands, Scourge made their first strong declaration with debut album "?On the Sin, Death, Lust, and Hate?" in 2010, a release produced by Gerald Incubus of Sarcofago. This is a great example of how you should play death metal : brutality, speed, rawness and a general sense of unforgiving agony. This is a very impressive effort and shows a band with the right ideas and the skills to put their hate in a great blend of extremities. Their lyrical approach dwells in the lustful realms of Sarcofago and Sextrash, perfectly coupling with their musical style. Great one!
