Although permeated with decay, this is not purely old school Death Metal. There is a forward-thinking bent to the sublimated, twisted melodies which often contain echoes of angular contemporary Black Metal, a psychopathic precision in the brutal rhythms and horrific haunted vocalisations, with the whole bolstered by organic production preserving the putrefied atmosphere while maintaining instrumental clarity.
