Where its predecessor 'The Key' saw the band establish its sci-fi/horror brand of death metal light years ahead of its time, 'Thresholds' took NOCTURNUS even further with new vocalist Dan Izzo and a more epic mix of guitar pyrotechnics and atmosphere (see 'Nocturne in Bm' and 'Arctic Crypt').
