While traditional in their approach and easily labeled as "old school", Sodomizer comes across as a way more honest and dedicated band than your average run-of-the mill retro band. The album is loaded with fast Speed Metal hymns yet also reveals many other sides to their craft, like the 7+ minutes long instrumental piece "Heavy Metal Horror" which is a rather complex piece of Heavy Metal. Their influences range from the obvious to the most obscure and are so varied that Sodomizer could never become a clone of any band before them!
