Due to continuously growing interest in The Flight Of Sleipnir and the unavailability of their extremely limited self-released EPs, 'Wisdom Calls For Sacrifice' (2008) and 'Winter Solstice II' (2009), the Eyes Like Snow label gives fans the chance to obtain the old material in a proper format. The limited 'Ascension' A5 digi includes liner notes for each of the old songs, as well as a previously unreleased cover of Pentagram's "Be Forewarned" and a rare live version of "Algiz." This release shows the beginnings of a band that sets out to combine Viking themes with classic doom metal and progressive rock. Limited to 1000 copies
