Since their first live appearance with Blood Island Raiders in December 2006, UK based band Witchsorrow have gone from strength to strength, gaining a devoted following in the process. In 2010 Witchsorrow return to the Doom Metal arena with their self titled debut album. This is Doom Metal in its purest form. Devoid of the tiring trends associated with the genre and opting to return their roots, Witchsorrow are unashamedly Heavy Metal in their approach. Inspired by the second wave of post 70s Doom bands such as Trouble, Saint Vitus, Candlemass and more recently, Reverend Bizarre, Witchsorrow make no apologies for not being trendy or cool. This is heavy music that is heartfelt and genuine and made by people who understand the true essence of Doom Metal. With one of the most anticipated releases of the year, Witchsorrow are destined to crushposers who merely pretend.
